2021 Outbreak of Foodborne Illness Associated with Bread and Cornbread, California
In August 2021, California public health officials investigated an outbreak of foodborne illness attributed to consumption of bread and/or cornbread consumed at a restaurant. Six outbreak cases were identified. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
The suspected etiology was not reported.
