2021 Outbreak of Foodborne Illness Associated with Chicken Stew, Puerto Rico

In June 2021, Puerto Rican public health officials investigated an outbreak of foodborne illness associated with a fast-food restaurant. Chicken stew was the implicated vehicle of transmission. Two people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.

The etiology was not reported.
