2021 Outbreak of Foodborne Illness at a Sit-down Dining Restaurant, Massachusetts

In October 2021, public health officials in Massachusetts investigated an outbreak of illnesses associated with a restaurant. Multiple causative agents were reported including Norovirus (confirmed), Giardia (suspected), and Enteroaggregative E. coli (confirmed). Twenty-one people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.

The vehicle of transmission was not reported.
