2021 Outbreak of Illness Associated with a Restaurant, Massachusetts
In October 2021, a foodborne illness outbreak occurred at a restaurant in Massachusetts. The suspected etiologies included E. coli Enteroaggregative (EAggEC), Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC), and norovirus. Nine outbreak cases were detected. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
The vehicle of transmission was not reported.
