2021 Outbreak of Non-O157 STEC Infections, Pennsylvania
In February 2021, public health officials in Pennsylvania investigated an outbreak of Shiga Toxin E. coli (STEC) infections. Two serotypes were detected E. coli O121:H19 and E. coli O103. Three people were ill. Two people were hospitalized. No one died.
The vehicle of transmission and setting were not reported.
