2021 Outbreak of Norovirus Associated with Cupcakes, Michigan

In July 2021, public health officials in Michigan investigated a confirmed outbreak of norovirus, Gii.P16-GII.4 Sydney associated with catered food. Cupcakes were the implicated vehicle of transmission. Twenty-seven people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
