2021 Outbreak of Salmonella Typhimurium Infections at a Restaurant, Illinois

In September 2021, public health officials in Illinois investigated an outbreak of Salmonella Typhimurium infections associated with food served at a restaurant. Eighty-two outbreak cases were detected. Four people were hospitalized. No one died. The vehicle of transmission was not reported.
