2021 Outbreak of Salmonella Typhimurium Infections, Louisiana
In March 2021, public health officials in Louisiana investigated an outbreak of Salmonella Typhimurium infections. Eleven people were ill. Six people were hospitalized. No one died. The locations were described as "fast food restaurant" and "private home." The vehicle of transmission was not reported.
