2021 Outbreak of Salmonellosis Associated with Peas, Wisconsin
In July 2021, public health officials in Wisconsin investigated a foodborne outbreak of Salmonella Oranienburg infections at a farm/dairy. Eight people were ill. Two people were hospitalized. No one died.
Peas were the implicated vehicle of transmission.
