2021 Outbreak of Staphylococcus aureus infections, Puerto Rico
In November 2021, public health officials in Puerto Rico investigated an outbreak of suspected Staphylococcus aureus infections. Three people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died. The implicated vehicles of transmission were reported as "roasted turkey, rice, and potato salad." The setting was reported as "other."
