2022 Outbreak of Salmonella Infections Linked to Bluffton Baking Cookies, Ohio
In October 2022 a multicounty outbreak of salmonellosis occurred in Ohio linked to a home bakery. The bakery, Bluffton Baking Cookies distributed cookies in Allen, Hancock and Putnam counties. Illnesses occurred between October 1 and October 6, 2022.
On October 12, 2022, Bluffton Baking Company recalled its Pumpkin Pie Stuffed Cheesecake cookies.
