2022 Outbreak of Salmonella Infections Linked to Custard Apple Pulp, California
In February 2022 Vadilal Industries, Inc. voluntarily recalled two batches of frozen Custard Apple Pulp after the product was linked to 5 cases of Salmonella infections. FDA sampling revealed the presence of Salmonella in the product.
