2023 Outbreak of Bacillus cereus Infections Associated with a Restaurant, Maine
In April 2023, Maine public health officials investigated an outbreak of Bacillus cereus infections associated with a restaurant. Five people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
The vehicles of transmission were reported as fried chicken fingers, pork fried rice, beef teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, and white rice.
