2023 Outbreak of Bacterial Toxins Associated with Chips and Bean Dip, California

In May 2023, California public health officials investigated an outbreak associated with chips and bean dip served at a restaurant. The suspected etiology was Bacillus cereus or Clostridium perfringens. Four people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
