2023 Outbreak of Campylobacteriosis Associated with Trade Winds Bar and Grill, Kansas
On August 17, 2023, Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and the Southeast Kansas Health Department (SEKMCHD) announced an outbreak of Campylobacter infections associated with Trade Winds Bar and Grill in Garnett, Kansas. Anyone who visited the restaurant between July 14, 2023 and August 9, 2023 and later experienced symptoms of diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting were encouraged to complete an online survey or contact their local health department.
