2023 Outbreak of Clostridium perfringens and Bacillus cereus Associated with a Buffet, Missouri
In January 2023, public health officials in Missouri investigated an outbreak of Clostridium perfringens and Bacillus cereus infections associated with a restaurant buffet. Fifteen people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
The implicated vehicles of transmission were reported as "kettle beef and mashed potatoes."
