2023 Outbreak of Clostridium perfringens at a Correctional Detention Center, Colorado

In February 2023, public health officials in Colorado investigated an outbreak of Clostridium perfringens at a correctional facility. The implicated vehicles of transmission were reported as Spanish rice and beans. One hundred thirty nine people were ill. One person was hospitalized. No one died.
