2023 Outbreak of Cyclosporiasis Associated with Romaine Lettuce, Arizona
In May 2023, public health officials in Arizona investigated an outbreak of Cyclospora infections associated with a restaurant. Fifty-nine people were ill. Eight people were hospitalized. No one died.
The implicated vehicle of transmission was romaine lettuce.
