2023 Outbreak of Foodborne Illness Associated with Cake Frosting, Arkansas
In October 2023, public health officials investigated a foodborne illness outbreak associated with white buttercream icing. Six people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died. The setting was reported as grocery store/bakery/deli/convenience store.
The etiology was not reported.
