2023 Outbreak of Foodborne Illness Associated with Chips and Salsa, California
In April 2023, public health officials in California investigated an outbreak of foodborne illness at a restaurant. Five people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died. The implicated vehicles of transmission were salsa and chips.
The etiology was not reported.
