2023 Outbreak of Foodborne Illnesses, Illinois
In April 2023, public health officials in Illinois investigated an outbreak of foodborne illnesses. The suspected etiology was Clostridium perfringens or Bacillus cereus. Four people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
