2023 Outbreak of Scombroid Poisoning Associated with Mahi-Mahi, Florida
In August 2023, Florida public health officials investigated an outbreak of scombroid poisoning, also called histamine poisoning, associated with consuming mahi-mahi at a restaurant. Two people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
