2023 Outbreak of Illnesses Associated with Raw Milk, Wyoming

Two children in Wyoming were hospitalized after drinking raw (unpasteurized) milk purchased through the Slow Food in the Tetons online market in September 2023. A total of 4 children and 1 adult were sickened either with E. coli or Campylobacter after consuming milk purchased on September 14 and/or September 21. Cases lived in Teton and Lincoln counties.

The Wyoming Department of Health did not identify the seller.
