2023 Outbreak of Legionella pneumophila Infections Associated with a Private Well, Maryland
In July 2023, Maryland public health officials investigated a waterborne outbreak of Legionnaires Disease at a multi-unit housing residence. The implicated source was water from a private well. Three people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
