2023 Outbreak of Legionnaires Disease Associated with a Hospital, Ohio
In February 2023, Ohio officials investigated a waterborne outbreak of Legionella pneumophila infections associated with community drinking water at a hospital. Five people were ill. All 5 case-patients were hospitalized. Three people died.
