2023 Outbreak of Legionnaires Disease Associated with a Hot Tub at a Private Club, Florida
In November 2023, Florida public health officials investigated a waterborne outbreak of Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 associated with a hot tub/spa/whirlpool at a fee-based membership club. Two people were ill. Both were hospitalized. Neither person died.
