2023 Outbreak of Legionnaires Disease Associated with a Hotel Hot Tub, Maryland
In July 2023, public health officials in Maryland investigated a waterborne outbreak of Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 infections associated with a hotel/motel hot tub/spa/whirlpool. Two people were ill and hospitalized. There were no deaths.
