2023 Outbreak of Legionnaires Disease Associated with a Hotel, Louisiana
In May 2023, Louisiana public health officials investigated a waterborne outbreak of Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 infections associated with a hotel/motel hot tub/spa/whirlpool. Two people were ill. Both were hospitalized. No one died.
