2023 Outbreak of Legionnaires Disease Associated with a Hotel Spa, Florida
In August 2023, public health officials in Florida investigated a waterborne outbreak of Legionella pneumophila Serogroup 1 associated with a hotel/motel hot tub/spa/whirlpool. Two people were ill. Both were hospitalized. No one died.
