2023 Outbreak of Legionnaires Disease Associated with Drinking Water, Michigan
In May 2023, public health officials in Michigan investigated a waterborne outbreak of Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 infections associated with drinking water at a hospital. Two people were ill. Both were hospitalized. No one died.
