2023 Outbreak of Legionnaires Disease Associated with Drinking Water, Michigan

In August 2023, public health officials in Michigan investigated a waterborne outbreak of Legionella pneumophila Serogroup 1 infections associated with drinking water at a factory/industrial facility. Three people were ill. Two people were hospitalized. One person died.
