2023 Outbreak of Legionnaires Disease at a Hospital, Florida
In February 2023, public health officials in Florida investigated a waterborne outbreak of Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 infections associated with a hospital. Three people were ill. All three were hospitalized. No one died.
The vehicle of transmission was reported as community drinking water.
