2023 Outbreak of Legionnaires Disease at a Multi-Unit Housing Hot Tub, Florida

In September 2023, Florida public health officials investigated a waterborne outbreak of Legionella pneumophila infections. Two people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died. The source was reported as treated recreational water in a hot tub/spa/whirlpool at a multi-unit housing residence.
