2023 Outbreak of Norovirus Associated with a Restaurant, Illinois
In October 2023, Illinois public health officials investigated an outbreak of norovirus associated with a sit-down restaurant. Eleven people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
Tomatoes and lettuce were reported as the implicated vehicles of transmission.
