2023 Outbreak of Norovirus Associated with Community Drinking Water, Louisiana
In June 2023, public health officials in Louisiana investigated a waterborne outbreak of confirmed norovirus associated with a community drinking water system. Thirty-three people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died. Other suspected etiologies included Campylobacter and Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC).
