2023 Outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis Infections Associated with Chicken Salad, Maryland
In May 2023, public health officials in Maryland investigated an outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis infections associated with chicken salad sold at a grocery store deli. Sixty-three people were ill. Eight people were hospitalized. No one died.
