2023 Outbreak of Salmonella Infantis Infections at a Long-term Care Facility, Kansas
In September 2023, Kansas public health officials investigated a foodborne illness outbreak of Salmonella Infantis infections at a long-term care/nursing home/assisted living facility. Five people were ill. Three people were hospitalized. No one died.
The vehicle of transmission was not reported.
