2023 Outbreak of Scombroid Poisoning Associated with Mahi-Mahi, Florida
In August 2023, public health officials in Florida investigated an outbreak of scombroid also known as histamine poisoning associated with consumption of mahi-mahi served at a restaurant. Two people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
