2024 Outbreak of E. coli O121 Infections Associated with Wonder Coffee and Sports Bar, Seattle, Washington
On August 6, 2024, Public Health Seattle King County (PHSKC) announced an outbreak of E. coli O121 Infections associated with Wonder Coffee and Sports Bar located at 1800 South Jackson Street in Seattle. Two ill cases were identified. Neither was hospitalized and no one died. Illness onset dates ranged from July 12 to July 16, 2024. Both people ate at the restaurant on July 10, 2024.
Consumption of raw or undercooked beef was the implicated vehicle of transmission.
