2024 Outbreak of Gastrointestinal Illness at Stack 571 Burger and Whiskey Bar, Washington
In November 2024, Public Health Seattle King County (PHSKC) investigated an outbreak of gastrointestinal illnesses associated with Stack 571 Burger and Whiskey Bar located at 12540 120th Ave in Kirkland, Washington. Three people became sick after eating at the restaurant. Meal dates ranged between October 28, 2024 and November 3, 2024. All three had one or more signs consistent with a bacterial toxin, including feeling sick, vomiting, diarrhea and stomach cramps. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
There was no sign that ill food workers were the source of the outbreak.
