2024 Outbreak of Listeriosis Associated with Beef Jelly Tongue Products, Canada
In October 2024, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) recalled many brands of jellied beef tongue sold in various Ontario stores due to an outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes infections associated with consuming the product. As of October 7, 2024, four cases had been identified.
