In July 2024, Public Health Seattle King County (PHSKC) investigated an outbreak of norovirus associated with Sammamish Cafe & Spirits located at 22850 NE 8th Street in Sammamish, Washington.

Six people reported illness. No one was hospitalized and no one died. Implicated meal dates were July 2, 2024 and July 3, 2024. Three people who became sick submitted samples for testing. Two samples were positive for norovirus.

PHSKC closed the restaurant on July 12, 2024 to allow for a thorough cleaning. An onsite visit occurred on July 15, 2024. Several restaurant staff reported symptoms consistent with norovirus from July 4 to July 12. None worked while sick.

The restaurant was allowed to reopen on July 15.
