2010 Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections Linked to Beef Processed at Adams Farm Slaughterhouse, LLC, Massachusetts
Ground beef processed by the Athol, Massachusetts based Adams Farm Slaughterhouse, LLC., was recalled on January 11 after the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) confirmed a positive ground beef sample for E. coli O157:H7. The hamburger was collected during an epidemiological investigation of at least one illness.
