2008 Outbreak of Salmonella Saintpaul Infections Linked to Adobo Grill Restaurants, Illinois
Two Adobo Grill restaurants in Chicago, Illinois, were identified as the source of nine cases of Salmonella. Six cases had eaten at the Wicker Park location, and three cases had eaten at the Old Town location. Ill restaurant patrons had eaten tomatoes. These cases may have been linked to a concurrent, nationwide, tomato-related outbreak, although available reports did not clearly make this link.
