2004 Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections Linked to Ground Beef, Illinois
Six people in Galesburg, Illinois, were diagnosed with E. coli O157:H7 infection after consuming the same brand of ground beef in August. The US Department of Agriculture performed a traceback on the meat, but no recall was issued.
