2010 Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections at Bemidji Beach/Diamond Point Park Beach, Minnesota
Three persons developed E. coli O157:H7 infections after swimming at Diamond Point Park Beach in early July. The outbreak was likely caused by swallowing lake water while swimming. The beach was temporarily closed but then was reopened after tests of the water came back as within normal limits.
