2004 Outbreak of Norovirus Linked to a Sandwich shop, Bloomington Minnesota

A Bloomington, Minnesota, sandwich shop received customer reports of illness and notified the local health department. The health department officials investigated the cluster and found 19 cases of Norovirus. Food workers at the restaurant were interviewed. One reported illness on the days associated with case illnesses, but was not part of food preparation. Another food worker reported an ill family member, and this person prepared tomato and sandwich preparation.
