2010 Outbreak of Salmonellosis, South Dakota
Four children were confirmed to have Salmonella in Brown County, South Dakota, during the week beginning November 17. At least twenty other children were ill, but these illnesses had not been confirmed as caused by Salmonella as of November 24. The illnesses prompted South Dakota health officials to remind the public about food safety.
