An outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 occurred at a child care program in Fort Worth, Texas, the CCC Alternative Learning Daycare. The investigation revealed problems with food preparation and procedures at the child care program. Water supplies for the younger children were inadequate, and a pool had not been adequately chlorinated or permitted.
