Patrons of a Minnesota restaurant developed gastroenteritis due to norovirus after a Christmas party that had been held at the restaurant. Eating dessert was a risk factor for illness. Some of the food workers ate leftover desserts and became ill. The cause of the outbreak was linked to restaurant workers who had originally prepared the desserts. The contamination led to illness in patrons and additional food workers.
